Manager of Communications

POSITION SUMMARY

With limited strategic direction, the Manager of Communications is responsible for management and development of corporate communications initiatives for MEAG Power, including newsletter publication, production of the annual report, quarterly reports, legislative reports, corporate brochures, advertising, electronic media, public relations and special projects aimed at enhancing the organization’s image among Participants, end-use customers, media, bondholders, rating agencies, appointed and elected officials and the public.  This position also manages the planning and production of the organization’s public events such as the Annual Meeting, annual Mayors Summit, legislative and other special events.  Manages department staff and outside contractors in carrying out these responsibilities.

Sr. Substation Engineer

Director of Finance

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Finance is responsible for the strategy and execution of debt issuance and the oversight and administration of the debt portfolio, Asset/Liability modeling and hedging activities. This position also manages all internal and external financial planning and disclosure activities and oversees the Vogtle 3&4 budgeting, forecasting and payment approval processes. The Director will support the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in his communications with the Participants and other external parties and on special projects as required. This position requires strong leadership, planning, teamwork and communications skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are effectively completed and communicated with internal and external parties. The Director should be experienced in the tax-exempt debt market and be highly proficient in financial planning and analysis. Ideally, the Director will be proficient in Excel, DBC, Bloomberg, Integrity and other industry standard software. The Director should be able to manage and complete tasks under short deadlines and without advance notice.
