Manager, Internal Audit

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Internal Audit oversees the preparation and completion of internal audits as required by the following: i) annual Risk Assessment, ii) co-owner contracts, iii) Participant contracts, and iv) executive management and/or Board of Directors in accordance with professional auditing standards and as described in the MEAG Enterprise Risk Management Policy. This position provides objective and independent information regarding the adequacy and effectiveness of the Authority's internal control systems and processes, as well as risk management awareness, to executive management and the Board of Directors. 

 

The manager of Internal Audit effectively manages relationships with personnel of co-owners including Georgia Power Company as well as the other co-owners of the jointly-owned generation and transmission facilities and The Energy Authority.

Administrative Courier

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs courier service, picks up, sorts and posts mail; performs routine office duties and has full responsibility for stocking refreshment centers throughout the building.  In addition this role will assist with fleet maintenance duties, manage the fitness center and other facility tasks as assigned.

Budget Analyst / Sr. Budget Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

This position performs under limited supervision and interfaces with MEAG Power and Georgia Power Company (GPC) staff members to prepare MEAG Power’s Annual System Budget (ASB), Participant’s Budgets, Purchase Power Agreement (PPA) Budgets and multi-year forecasts for use by MEAG Management, Participants and their consultants, the PPA customers, rating agencies and consultants.  This position is also responsible for the documentation of procedures and the systems necessary to prepare and administer the budget process.
