Under limited supervision, provide a broad range of functionally unique technical and administrative duties in support of the department.  Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship to the day-to-day activities of the units within the department, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the operations of the office and of corporate policy.  Prioritize the workflow of other administrative/ secretarial staff within the same department / or section, if applicable or appropriate.

Financial Analyst / Sr. Financial Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Analyst / Sr. Financial Analyst will be engaged throughout the Finance Department in areas including fixed income securities, investments, banking, hedging, and cash flow forecasting.  The incumbent will also support the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis with special projects, including financial reporting, finance committee presentations and other projects as needed.  The Analyst will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Excel based models of complex financing arrangements.    

 

This position requires the ability to research, model and analyze various financial issues promptly and accurately.  The ideal candidate will be an expert in Excel (including VBA) and proficient in other industry standard software including DBC.  The candidate should be able to perform tasks under tight deadlines and without advance notice.

Cyber Security Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The position is functionally responsible for managing MEAG Power’s cyber security and related compliance efforts associated with MEAG Power’s transmission assets for all NERC, Federal, State, and/or Local requirements.  The position is responsible for creating and assisting in the creation of policies and procedures to remain compliant with such standards for the cyber security of MEAG Power’s transmission assets.  Represent MEAG Power with other Integrated Transmission System (ITS) Members (GPC, GTC, and Dalton) to develop, review, and update as needed, ITS procedures for cyber security of the ITS.

Manager, Capital Markets & Debt Management

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Capital Markets and Debt Management is responsible for managing all pre and post issuance bond financing activities/responsibilities within the Finance Department under the guidance of the Director of Finance. As such, the Manager oversees the interactions between various internal and external stakeholders and activities related to the financial, banking and capital markets affecting the organization, including management of the debt portfolio and helping to oversee the investment of bond proceeds. In addition, the Manager leads a team of at least two direct reports in helping the organization safeguard its assets, ensuring adequate working capital while adhering to all the internal and external compliance and regulatory issues.

Director, Generation

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Generation is a hands-on role responsible for directing activities associated with the construction, operation, maintenance and compliance of the MEAG generation fleet. Ensure the fleet is constructed and operated in an economical manner while ensuring the reliability of the resources. Provide motivation and strong leadership for the Generation staff.  Support the Executive Team in developing and implementing the strategic plans. Provide MEAG Participants reliable, low cost electric power resources in a manner that assures that the Participants can remain competitive and receive the maximum value from these assets over the long term.
