MEAG Power owns over 1300 miles of high voltage transmission lines and nearly 200 substations.
Reliability and security of the transmission system are critical. MEAG Power’s transmission team works with the SERC Reliability Council, the regional entity of the North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC), to keep the transmission grid trouble-free. NERC and SERC are responsible for seeing that all FERC reliability standards are met.
